Christmas Crafts for Preschoolers + Toddlers

I can't even believe I'm writing about Christmas but I'm not mad about it. I absolutely love all things Christmas and I can't wait to share the crafts I have. These popular tear art crafts are just what you need for the holiday season. They make a perfect little gift, too. There are two different sets to choose from (or you can just get both  🤫). I mean...how cute are these? Dot stickers, dot markers, finger painting on the candy cane, oil pastels...the possibilities are endless. The second set has some options that are just as cute like this cow and deer 😍   Whether they're going to become a Christmas gift or your next hallway display, these cuties are sure to make everyone around smile. And you'll be happy knowing that your students got in some fine motor practice while creating these.

Thanksgiving Crafts

I'm back with more fine motor crafts . This time for Thanksgiving! I just love how versatile these crafts are and that they can be a bulletin board, hung on a classroom door or a keepsake for families to keep for years to come. The best ways to incorporate fine motor skills with these crafts is using dot stickers or tearing paper. I've found the easiest way to do paper tearing is to give children strips of paper to tear. Handing over a whole sheet of paper usually ends up with them tearing it into 5 big pieces and calling it a day. Dot stickers are another favorite and you can find any and all colors on Amazon. Cut apart the sticker sheets to limit how many stickers they can use so they don't get too carried away. If you have a favorite way to use these , let me know! I'd love to hear!

Halloween Crafts

Fine motor skills are one thing that I take seriously. I love creating fun and engaging ways to practice, just like these crafts. They're perfect for paper tearing, but you can use other art supplies too.  Oil pastels are so fun to use and blend colors together. Grab a few colors and just scribble on the paper then use a paper towel to rub the colors and watch the magic happen. Apple Crafts + Fine Motor Skills

These easy to use apple crafts are just what you need this fall. With a variety of ways you can decorate it, the possibilities really are endless. For all my crafts these are the items we like to use: Torn Paper Watercolors Dot Stickers Oil Pastels Dot Markers Crayons My favorite way to use these though are with torn paper. If you've never done a torn paper activity, this is the one you need! It takes a lot for little hands to learn to tear paper with each hand pulling in opposite directions. It's the ultimate fine motor skill!
